Outback Steakhouse at 6030 Southwest 18th Street, Boca Raton, Florida.

Tried this location for the first time today—the steak I had was fantastic! Once I was seated (which took less than 2 minutes) my waitress took very good care of me. She was well versed in the menu so much so she managed to turn around my initial decision not to get an appetizer. The “Bloomin’ Pedals” (which is a smaller portion of their renowned Bloomin’ Onion appetizer) was delicious! The Aussie Fries seemed like normal fries to me, but they were hot and crisp! I was able to freshly crackle black peppercorns and salt onto my fries, which made them even better!

The fresh bread is always an under-appreciated delight as well, and it was quite the treat today!

I did notice that they had gotten significantly busier by the time I was leaving and people were definitely waiting (with those flashing buzzers) around the foyer. My suggestion—make it an early dinner! And enjoy!
